The world's first murder, as Cain kills Abel (East of Eden)
Noah born.
God commands Noah to build the Ark - he will have 120 years to complete it. Best crack on.
17th May: The Great Flood. All life on earth wiped out apart from Noah, his wife, his sons, their wives, and two of every animal.
27th June: The rains of the Great Flood stop.
17th October: Noah's Ark comes to rest on Mount Ararat. (East Turkey/Armenia)
11th February: Noah sends out a raven and a dove to see if land had appeared through the waters yet.
18th February: Noah sends out another dove, which returns with an olive leaf, showing that the waters have subsided.
27th May: Noah, his family and the animals all leave the Ark. (Mount Ararat)
Abram born.
Sarai born.
Abram, Sarai, Lot and many others leave Haran in search of a new land.
The Abrahamic Covenant - God promises Abram a son and generations of children.
Abram has a son, Ishmael, by his wife's handmaiden Hagar.
