Tuesday 8th July: Pia Lange, an eleven year old girl, is stalked and attacked while riding her bicycle on a rural road near a small provincial German town. She is raped and murdered in a field by Danish national Peer Sommer while his student, Timo Friedrich, watches paralyzed from Sommer's car. Sommer then packs Pia's body into his trunk to later dispose of her body, tossing her bicycle into the high grass. (Germany - The Silence)
